Wild West Hero costume... pretty impressive

Nobody has replied yet to my last post but I'm here with the next four items already. Drumroll...

Killer Shades I mentioned these in my last post! And you don't even need to get the Spy Toy, just costumize with one of the agents there. It used to be on top of the Lab in Time Tangled.
Goofy Glasses from the sewer in Super Power, these are limited-time only items. But once again, you don't need to fear 'cause they're there for free in Spyglass Eyewar, on Spy Island.
Wild West Hero outfit Now here's something interesting! Members-only, and only available during Wild West Sneak Peek. Ouch.
Astro-Knights Island Medallion I guess that's true... did you hear, they may be rolling out a sequel to that island!

I'm not too thrilled with this latest collection. They're not rare at all. The Creator's really need more material! I was really lucky to be there on the Wild West sneak Peek... and of course I had Membership to build my walkthrough :))) Anyway, as before, reply to this post if you have any of these items; username required to check if you really do have them and aren't trying to cheat me :/

Shark Boy is Addicted

Today I casually strolled over to the Poptropica Creator's blog and saw something that made me stop in my tracks. Shark Boy, from Shark Tooth island if you haven't figured that out already, got the highest score of all the Creators, which is precisely 2,176,800! Totally ungodly! How'd he get that? You'd better follow his tips in that vid below (or just stick with mine. But I only got 450,000.)

Holy... look at that! But he did cut out many parts... his way of cheating? That's unbelievable!

The Creators recently announced the 20 rarest items on Poptropica (well, not all of them.) Reply to this post if you have the latest ones:

Brain in a Jar Dial 411 on the Nabooti Phone. This one was mentioned in the Journal before.
Viking Suit Use the gliders from Leo's shop on TT to fly from the ledge near where you go into the cave, to the ledge at the top of the hill on the right. BONUS: used to be sunglasses on the wind vane on top of Pendulum's Lab.
Multiverse ya, ya, we know, but it's cool anyway.
And the limited-time Nabooti Mask on the brown building on Balding Avenue (Spy. Expired)

Not trying to brag, I knew about these already (and I have them. I've been playing for quite a while) Anybody else who does post in the comments! I'll mention you on the home page. Your username is required so I can check if you really have the items on your Poptropican. BTW, Shrink Ray opening June 30!

There's now two ads for Mr. Popper's Penguins, the video you watch for the crate of penguins and the mini-game in which you defrost fish using a hairdryer all over the apartment. What? Anyway, I found a cool glitch on one of my 8-year-old girl accounts:

I'm sure you've all noticed the sneaky text in the new "Latest" section on my blog. Is the new island going to be based on Astro-Knights? (I don't mean Shrink Ray.) Many people haven't even started Red Dragon, and it's becoming history already! Perhaps the Creators are thinking about a sequel because Astro-Knights was such a big hit (it holds second place for most Members rushing in for Early Access. But it's still too early for a Wild West sequel.) Or because Mordred won the Villain Showdown? If I'm wrong there's no reason to grab your shotgun. The reason I say this is because of the Sneak Peeks from last month. The Creator's still haven't leaked much about this; that's why I thought it was too early to post. But never mind. Here are the pics you've been waiting for... (and what I mean by Evil, Inc.)

Shrink Shot Help

This is the post you're looking for if you need help with Shrink Shot! I'm posting this now because the official Sneak Peek for Shrink Ray is coming up soon. I'm assuming you know the basic idea with this game: point and click to launch at an angle and you get to shoot again if you hit the cannon. It's mostly pure luck because you can't control yourself after you've shot. But here are some pointers anyway.

You can get to higher ranks by scoring points in the game, which can come from three different things:

point balls
bouncing around madly
destruction by crashing into dangerous objects (oh, and did I mention you're a tenth of your true size in this?)

For each rank there's a cool special-action item. Here they are:

hard helmet
bouncy ball
propeller cap
spiked hard helmet (oh YEAH!)
spiked bouncy ball (what?)

The last three items are members-only. You can only get the grand prize with the last hat, which means that's members-only as well (@#$%^&*)! Each hat causes much more mayhem than the first. Some balls (the ones with arrows) will change your direction and give you extra points. When you hit one three times, it will disappear. There are various objects around the room, which can give you special (and awesome) items as well:

grape Popgum (chewable) [from stack of gum on shelf]
droppable soda bottle [found in many places, but one is within shooting distance of the cannon]
crayons (change anyone's skin color) [from crayons on windowsill]
shrink ray design blue balloon [from big balloon near top]
snow globe (members only, sparkly) [grand prize]
blimp gives +points
car takes you to the other end of the room
plane takes you near the blimp
the rank items are collectible (and wearable) as well

Shoot for a 45* degree angle almost all of the time to get the quickest rank up at first, but if you want distance, not height, try shooting 75* counterclockwise. This will put you in range of the balloons, blimp and plane and will also get you closest to the snow globe. And remember, you have the same Ninja Vision thing from Red Dragon... press the spacebar to pause and look around.

Check out Shark Boy's crazy score if you need inspiration (I actually got higher, but didn't take any video. Excuse my obnoxiousness in that post, I was very young!)

In other news, Balloon Boy may be landing soon (finally!) Before I go on break, I have one message for you. The next island, after Shrink Ray, may just be a sequel to Astro-Knights. Don't believe me? The answer lies deep within the old Sneak Peeks. *fainting from shock*

Lately the Creators have been paying lots of attention to designing train cars (you would notice as well if you've been studying the Sneak Peeks.) We all know that Shrink Ray is coming up, you you might be tiny size for your ride. But that's not what the pics show... perhaps you're going to use the train for something else?
