Or at least, yesterday was. March 23rd is National Waffle Day, which is I guess a time when you eat waffles for breakfast? I never celebrated it. But now you can on Poptropica, with the two all-new Waffle Costumes -- square one for boys, circular one for girls. Go get yours today!
By the way, did you find the hidden creature in yesterday's Twisted Thicket video? I did. It's too easy, really... what were the Creators thinking? It takes up the whole screen when it appears, at around 00:20. It looks like a leprechaun.  The creepiest Poptropica Island of all time is finally available for everybody to play! I'll guarantee you'll enjoy it, and if you're stuck there's always my Island Guide open to all. Happy vampire-hunting! First of all, I've been gone from Poptrickia for about a week now for a camping trip. I'm back, and I've missed a lot, so let me start off right away. Vampire's Curse island just came out, but there's already another one coming up! It's Twisted Thicket Island, and it's about strange creatures from an enchanted forest. Just as I predicted! The trailer is below and it's making me impatient. There's lots more info on the island page. And just like Vampire's Curse and S.O.S. Island, there's a members-only bonus quest. Oh, and some members-only silver item cards. 
 March 14th, which was Poptrickia's one-year birthday (yaay!), was also Pi day. Huh? What's that? Well, besides from being our favorite dessert, it's also an important number in math used to calculate various things about a circle. It's about 3.14159 (or 22/7) and is the ratio of a circle's circumference to it's diameter. Okay, now I'll stop the crazy math ranting, I know none of you want to be reminded of school any more than me. There are also three new pie costumes in the store. So hurry on up there!

Cactus von Garlic, a character from Vampire's Curse island "For centuries, a truce has existed between the people of a remote mountain village, and the vampire who lives in the castle high above. That's the story of the upcoming Vampire's Curse Island (which releases on Thursday). Interesting, right? We already know a ton about this new island, including the fact that it will come with a members-only quest just like the one from S.O.S. Island. Something to do with lifting the vampire's curse. We also know there's a members-only gear pack, also like the one from S.O.S. Anyway, that's why I'm preparing a little pre-release showcase of what we'll see in this new island.            In other news, the Creators are hard at work on something big, something I believe is part of the new Costume closet thing. I think that us Poptropicans will soon get the ability to take snapshots of our surroundings. Something that will definitely be of use to a walkthrough-creator like me.
 Yep, if you go on Same Show Island right now and run to the very right of Main Street and you will a find a new mega-sized adventure for the Lorax movie coming up! Something to pass the time until Vampire's Curse Island, I presume.  In other news, the Poptropica Official app has made two more walkthroughs available for 99 c. Not a huge fan of that, may I add... I prefer my own guides.  And lastly, S.O.S. Island is finally open to non-members! If you are stuck, my guide is the definite solution. Have fun! Well, before we get to that, I've got something else to show here: the new trailer for Vampire's Curse Island! Sounds creepy, no? I think (in this island) the girl Katya has been kidnapped by Count Bram. Definitely exciting!  And now for the main part of this post: S.O.S. Island will be releasing for all on Feb 16, that's tomorrow! If you're stuck, you should try my guide.
 Folks, news of the next island has just flown in: it's going to be called Vampire's Curse Island! Looks interesting... and creepy. It also proves my predictions were correct! 
Yikes.
 In other news, S.O.S. Island is scheduled to release for all by February 16th. On that same date, the Captain's outfit will be pulled off the Store! So hurry, Members! Non-members can see the full S.O.S. Island Guide here.
Also, next month is Poptrickia's one-year birthday! I think it's March 20th or something, but probably earlier. I'll have to check. Unfortunately, I've got some school business on that date, so the celebration will be later. Anybody excited? The evidence is coming out that the island after S.O.S. has been planned, and even sketched and programmed! The island will have a spooky, sinister theme. Sounds fun? Here's a taste of what will be coming after we rescue everyone from S.O.S. island...       |
