I have a feeling about Game Show island...   Zombie Power! Oh yeah! I played Social Studies Jeopardy in school today, and needless to say, it wasn't at all comparable to this. Speaking of which, I should actually be completing my homework right now... ;)
YES!!! The Legend has finally been revealed... and it IS very similar to Astro-Knights. But it's not an island, it's a mini-quest in the store. It's called Legendary Swords and I cannot wait to slice some robots!  Oh yeah! Dr. Hare is back (just a theory!) Annnddd...  Our mad robot scientist revealed! Ah-ha! Holmes, you've been caught red-handed designing evil robots!
Only three more days until the birthday party comes to a finish! Wow, it's been four years for Poptropica now! Pretty amazing, compared to Poptrickia's 8 months :) Hurry up non-members, there's still time! Rush to Target and pull out a ten-dollar bill. It's not over yet! In other news... the Game Show Island craze is still going strong! And I've uncovered more than ever now. For one, the Legend that the creators announced... remember?.. was coming September. It's got to come sometime soon, and according to the Creators, that will be tomorrow! Who-hoo! It doesn't really go with money and game shows, though. And I was really hoping Dr. Hare would come back. Then again, he is plotting something... so many thoughts! Let's finish this post off with some previews freshly robbed from the Daily Pop.  In Holmes we Trust... Who's this Holmes guy? Is he the inventor of these bots?  The Tightrope of Death... coming soon to a game show near you! *rubbing hands together in anticipation* Oh, yeah, this island looks pretty impressive. Let's hope my Membership doesn't expire on me before October...
The Creators have revealed the sneak peek for Game Show Island! It's called the Money Ladder (what a surprise). More on this coming up. And I won't be shocked to learn that this is part of the big 'legend' being revealed the day after tomorrow!   Yep, the Creators have finally freed us from our suspense! The next island is called Game Show Island, and it's about these robots who have ruled the world by winning all the game shows! Wait... what??? I thought we were dealing with mind control here!? Oh well. There goes my theory of Astro-Knights 2 and the return of Dr. Hare. Sheesh, those Creators sure have a way of disappointing folks! Maybe Dr. Hare is still working on his rabbot and world domination in this island? Now THAT would be sweet. Anyway, back to this island. It seems these guys got the idea for this island from IBM's new supercomputer, Watson, that creamed the humans at Jeopardy. Well, my theory was just proved, after one of the sneak peeks (below.) It mentions Deep Thought in the caption, which is another one of IBM's older supercomputers. This looks exciting! Unfortunately, my Membership may run out by then :(.  Deep Thought II A ton has happened in Poptropica lately... a new Stats page format, new icons for the Store, and all those crazy people running around in discontinued costumes. Very minor. But THIS...  ...is AWESOME!!! This and my twisted imagination has helped me figure out some big chunks of info on Robots island. The first thing I noticed was that this is happening in Mr. Yoshi's Really Terrific Challenge. The second thing I noticed is that you're trapped in an egg. Hmm... and we all know Mr. Yoshi is evil... Well, at least we know where those game shows are coming from now. I smell a con game...  I remember that retirement home... it was attacked by robots! And that $pin for Riche$ thing in making me suspicious. Oh, but that's not all! Click Read More for some creepy robots (again?)
Wow, the Creators must be in a good mood! Look what they re-released!!! Only 7 more days to get the legendary Nessie Hat for free! Sorry non-members :(((  Well, the official Poptropica guidebook is releasing next month, and the Creators have a nice surprise for us. They're holding a Poptropica Guidebook Scavenger hunt! You see, for three weeks after the book's launch date, they are holding three different scavenger hunts based on the book. If you answer in time you'll get a special in-game prize! The details are quite unclear now... but the Creators will have more on the official page. Here's a video of Jeff Kinney, the head Creator, talking about Poptropica, for anyone interested...
