Starting today and continuing until October 30th, Poptropica Land is now open to all, non-Members as well as Members! During that time, the Creators will be hosting four contests; here are the topics: Heh heh, looks like the Creators took my idea for the Obstacle Course competition... I'll be sure to enter that one. You've only got three days for each one, so best hurry up! Our online comic heroes, Jorge and Oliver, are soon going to make an appearance in actual comic books. Check out these pages that were released through the Creators' official Twitter (click to zoom): Very nice artwork. They promise that it's coming out in January 2015. Only two more months! And finally, just for fun, check out this rendering of a Zomberry cityscape that was never used. Looks so real I could almost swear I've seen that scene before. That's all for today! I'm off to design my Dream Home in Poptropica Land (using the new blue material and Props). Sorry for the inactivity; I've been sick and had lots of catching-up to do at school. See ya later!

![]() Happy New Year! Kind of late, I know, but I've been on break. Zomberry Island is arriving to non-members on January 10th... and it looks like Poptropolis Games is disappearing very soon. Don't believe me? Look at the island map. You'd better hurry to finish all those games! And I'd better complete my Poptropolis Island Video Walkthrough in case it doesn't disappear... The next island seems to have something to do with fashion and shopping and sports, but there isn't much information in the Daily Pop. Actually, it looks like it takes place in a mall. Here are a few snapshots: As you can see, there are many shopping and fashion references, most likely linked. And there are also some pictures of something called the "land of nod", whatever that means: look at the bottom-left two pictures. There are also some "evil secret lair" pictures. All of this is obviously connected, but how? I'm not sure. And here's an extra: according to the Daily Pop, the name of the mall is Twin Palms Mall. The name of the mall in the movie Back to the Future is called Twin Pines Mall. Are they linked somehow? Probably not, there aren't any time-travel references elsewhere. I'll post more as I find out!
![]() Zomberry Island has arrived for Members and others can play it starting January 10th. And just in time for the global apocalypse tomorrow! I'll be spending the night working on a guide for this island and watching Doomsday Preppers. Then I'll wake up and laugh the day after. UPDATE: The Zomberry Island Guide is completed! Bonus quest instructions and videos will come soon. Poptropica Cheats for Zomberry Island here! ![]() The Zomberry Island trailer has arrived, and along with that, the description (below), and the intro comics (presented in other posts) we now have a fairly good grasp on what's up in this strange new island... or do we? Scroll down for more! Just when we thought we were getting a good idea about what we thought Zomberry Island would be about, these two animations come up. They look like robots: the bird is wind-up but surprisingly realistically moving, and the scorpion looks slightly metallic. They don't look related to Zomberry Island; could they be from a yet-unannounced one? Anyway, let's get ready for Zomberry Island, which according to my calculations should release on 12/21/12, the supposed apocalypse. How fitting!
![]() Zomberry Island is coming soon to Poptropica, and it's about some imported berries that are mutating the citizens of Eastman into zombies. But what's the story behind this? This new comic series from the Creators hopes to set the scene for this exciting new island. Click for full-size! One by one, the citizens of Eastman are mutating into something horrible. Now, the city is quarantined, the survivors are trapped, and ghouls prowl the streets. No one knows how the zombie outbreak began... but how it ends is up to you! Posters!![]() I was right in my last post! The next island is really about berries and zombies, with shipping and movies mixed in. So it wasn't a crazy idea! Apparently it's about some imported berries that are mutating the citizens of Eastman into zombies and you have to stop this threat from expanding. Most of everything I guessed in my last post seems about true. The official description is below. And now for some out-of-the-ordinary news... One by one, the citizens of Eastman are mutating into something horrible. Now, the city is quarantined, the survivors are trapped, and ghouls prowl the streets. No one knows how the zombie outbreak began... but how it ends is up to you! ![]() Each of the eight Poptropica Tribes (originally from Poptropolis Games Island) now have their own common rooms! Only members of a tribe can access that tribe's jumbo-size and interactive multiplayer room. I'm a Nanobot; always was, always will be. |
