You won't have to go through this amazing and creepy island alone: the Poptrickia Super Villain Island Guide is now complete! This is quite possibly the greatest plot and gameplay of any Poptropica island to date; it is definetely one of my favorites now! This has pushed me to add a "favorite" symbol to some of my walkthroughs -- if you go to the page sometime soon, you'll see my favorited islands. This comic series ran four years ago to promote Super Power Island. Well, the Creators have republished it today for the release of it's newer cousin, Super Villain Island. Have fun with it! And scroll down for some new, more exciting news...

In celebration of Poptropica's fifth birthday, the Creators are also re-releasing some limited-time Members-only items from past islands! Namely, the Zaggy Moondust, Beachgoer, Wrestling Gear, Lumberjerk, Vampire Count, Sea Captain, Ghost Hunter, and Light Ninja costumes are back. If you missed a cool costume, run to the store now and you can get it!

The Poptropica Super Villain Island trailer is available! Now we can get a better view of what Super Villain is really about. And, on September 27th, Members will get to play it! I have my Second-Day Guarantee on the walkthrough for that island. Also, Poptropica is back at Applebees! You can get free activity book at participating Applebees locations. Now I'm boring you, right? Go take a look at the trailer below, and then finish playing the four early islands that the villains in Super Villain come from.

This year's prizes... get 'em while they're good!

Today is September 14th. And you know what that means... Poptropica's fifth birthday! That's right, our favorite online video game has lasted for five whole turns around the sun. And it's time to celebrate! Poptropicans now have the chance to receive the free color-changing birthday balloon in the store, and to win a limited-edition Poptropica costume of a birthday cake with a '5' candle on it!

The limited-edition costume can be obtained like so: walk into any multiplayer room and you'll find it filled with multicolored balloons. Look for any balloon with a big number '5' on it and click on it to get the costume! It was very hard last year, but today I went into the Soda Pop Shop in Early Poptropica and I found the balloon on my first try. Nice, eh? And now on to some other news...

Yesterday was Roald Dahl Day, the birthday of the author Roald Dahl, the author of some great classics like The BFG and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. In fact, as a present to us all for Roald Dahl Day, the Creators have announced the next island early... it's based on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, just like I predicted! We'll have to wait a bit for the details... presumably after Super Villain island. Stay tuned, and in the meantime you can click on the picture of the cover of the book to the right to buy it on Amazon. Tidbit: the book was published 1964 and is still a popular book today. Isn't that interesting.

Now any Poptropican get go to the moon... on Lunar Colony Island. It's open to everyone, and my full guide is also done! The only part missing is the members-only quest, but that'll be finished up this week. Have fun, and try to stay "grounded"!

I think we'll all have a lot of fun with Super Villain Island. Though I do wonder how Dr. Hare escaped from space... and how the Black Widow got out of prison... and how Captain Crawfish escaped Skullduggery... and how the Binary Bard got back to Poptropica without that orb... Oh well. We'll find out soon enough... in the twisted minds of the four most notorious supervillains of all time! Stay tuned.
