An abandoned space station. A missing astronaut. A signal from beyond the stars. Blast off for a Poptropica adventure like no other! Get ready to explore the secrets of the lunar surface, and uncover a mystery as old as the cosmos...
That's the description of Lunar Colony Island. It seems like you visit the 'abandoned space station' to rescue the 'missing astronaut' and the 'signal from beyond the stars' would be an alien message, or a cry for help (most likely the first one.) If it is, then maybe the 'missing astronaut' has been kidnapped! 'Uncover a mystery as old as the cosmos'? That doesn't make sense... first of all, the moon isn't as old as the cosmos.
And now for the Bonus Quest... You've returned to earth just in time to receive a new transmission. Can you crack the code and translate the alien message? I think you can figure that one out.

Ta-da! Don't get it? Okay... Here goes. In the the first one, you'll notice that a very fat boy is on a conveyor belt with chocolate/candy being poured on him.

The fat boy is Augustus Gloop, who gets sucked up a tube in Willy Wonka's factory and ends up inside the machinery in the book.
In the second picture, there is a house in a very bad state of repair shown, with crates of cabbages outside the house.

The house belongs to Charlie's family in the book. Charlie's family is very poor, and they usually eat cabbages three meals a day. Hence, the crates of cabbages outside. They also live in a run-down, tiny house near Willy Wonka's factory.
Understand? Now if you believed me even for a moment back there, you're going to be even angrier when I tell you that the next island may be something completely different, having something to do with art and museums, similar to Counterfeit. Angry now? Hang on I've got more. It might also have something to do with ships and boats. Just look through the recent Daily Pop/Sneak Peek entries before labeling me crazy!
