New Island Speculation
So far, we know nothing about the storyline or plot of the next island, but we know plenty about the setting. The next island centers around a convention about Poptropica — Poptropi-con, if you will. There'll be plenty of (very bad) cosplaying as various Poptropica characters, and it will take place in somewhere near the Bay Area. It's another meta island like Mocktropica, but hopefully less depressing. It'll probably be followed by Arabian Nights Island (which is most likely pushed to 2015).
Alright, the banners on the tent-like buildings say something like "Convention" a few times. Additionally, the green bags people are holding say "P-Con". In the background of the pizza cart, you see the Golden Gate Bridge. And the whole mood of the area scream San Francisco. But what makes me think that it's about Poptropica? Take a look at the costumes...
I see things from Astro-Knights, Lunar Colony, Game Show, Cryptids, and Time Tangled Islands at least. So, that's what's coming up in Poptropica this year! And according to this tweet, the Android Poptropica app won't be here until September (it was previosuly promised for July) Stay tuned to the Journal; I've got some top-secret insights into Survival Episode 4 coming up!
